Our Team
At Red Heart Family Services, we believe in leading with compassion, purpose, and professionalism. Our team is made up of skilled mental health providers, support staff, and recovery advocates who are deeply committed to helping women heal, grow, and thrive.
We serve adult clients in the state of Virginia through our licensed Center-Based Intensive Outpatient Program (ASAM Level 2.1) an evidence-based level of care designed for individuals needing structured support without full-time hospitalization. Every member of our team brings a wealth of experience in trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, and mental health treatment.
What sets us apart is not just our clinical knowledge, but the way we connect with each other, with our clients, and with the community. We work together as one heart-centered unit to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where women feel empowered to take back their lives.
Our History
Red Heart Family Services was founded in 2025 by three sisters born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Growing up in a home impacted by a parent’s struggle with substance abuse, they witnessed firsthand the pain, confusion, and stigma that addiction can bring to a family. Rather than allowing that experience to define them, they used it as fuel to create change.
Motivated by love, resilience, and a deep desire to break generational cycles, the sisters pursued a deeper understanding of addiction and mental health. Through years of learning, healing, and growing, they became equipped with the tools and knowledge to make a lasting impact in the very communities that shaped them and where they are now raising families of their own.
Red Heart Family Services is more than just a treatment center, it’s a personal mission. It represents strength, sisterhood, and the belief that every woman deserves access to compassionate care, regardless of her past. The sisters built this agency to be a place of healing, empowerment, and hope, because they know what it means to struggle, and more importantly, what it means to rise.
